Overview

RingCut is designed to help you create ringtone-ready audio clips on your iPhone. Imported files, recordings, edits, and exported ringtones are processed locally on your device.

Audio and files

RingCut does not upload your imported audio, videos, recordings, or exported ringtone files to a RingCut server. Files you create are stored on your device and may be visible in the RingCut folder in the Files app.

Permissions

RingCut may request microphone access when you choose to record audio. Microphone access is used only for recording audio that you start inside the app.

Advertising

RingCut may show ads using Google AdMob. Google and its partners may collect device information, advertising identifiers, approximate location, ad interactions, diagnostics, and related data to provide, measure, and improve ads. Google handles this data according to its own privacy policies and advertising terms.

Analytics and accounts

RingCut does not require a user account. The current app does not use RingCut-owned servers to store your personal projects.

Third-party services

The app may use Apple system services for Files, sharing, audio playback, and export workflows. If you share an exported ringtone to another app or service, that service's privacy policy applies.

Children

RingCut is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us so we can review the request.

Changes

This policy may be updated when RingCut changes features, advertising, analytics, or data handling. The latest policy will be posted on this page.
