Getting started

RingCut lets you import an audio file or video, trim the part you want, add fade in or fade out, then export a short .m4a clip for ringtone setup.

Setting a ringtone on iPhone

After export, use the share option available on your iPhone. If direct ringtone sharing is not available, open the exported clip in GarageBand and use GarageBand's ringtone sharing flow.

Common issues

• If a file will not import, make sure it is a supported audio or video file and is not DRM-protected.
• If export fails, try a shorter selection under 30 seconds and check that the source file still exists in Files.
• If a saved ringtone is missing, open My Ringtones and refresh after confirming the file exists in the RingCut folder in Files.
